We are located in Kyoto's Gion traditional entertainment district,along one of the area's most atmospheric streets.
Stepping outside of our shop onto a quaint street paved with flagstones,
a fes steps to the east will bring you to Tatumi-jinjya .
This shrine is said to be the shrine of those engaged in arts and entertainment and you will often see geisha and maiko(apprentice geisha) at the shrine,praying for luck in their artistic endeavors.
It is said that this shrine was built to serbe as hte protector of the directions, shice may daily drama of Gion unfolding around this shrine.

　The First Floor O-Zashiki

At Oozawa Tempura,we offer set courses of tenpura that we cook piece by piece right before your eyes.

　The Second Floor O-Zashiki

On our second floor, we habe another o-zashiki which is the perfect size for meeetings, reunions, birthday parties and all sorts of gatherings.
We accept reservations for this room for groups of five people or more, so please feel to use this space for relaxing and enjoy and enjoyable events.

We are also able to offer courses in addition to those described on our menu page , so please don't hesitate to consult with us bout the perfect menu for your event.
